The town of the ghosts: The Port Arthur’s Ghost Town

A town with dark history which dates back to the 19th century.  This town served as a prison for criminals who were convicts of the most heinous crimes and repeat offenders. Here people were not physically tortured but mentally. Almost a 1000 deaths were recorded here. A plenty of paranormal activities have been encountered by many. It is a spooky place at the same time a memorial for the people who were killed in the Port Arthur massacre.

The best part is there are 3 lakes in total and not 1.Located in Western Australia, The lake makes for being one of the weirdest places in Australia, as they get their colour from the bacteria present in the lake which has a rosy pigment. This pink pigment also blocks the sun rays to enter the lake and protect the bacteria underneath.
