The Israeli series Fauda is created by Lior Raz and Avi Issacharoff based on their experiences in the Israel Defense Forces. The show, which starts off a bit slow, quickly evolves as an intense thriller similar to shows like ’24’ and ‘Strike Back’. The show follows a top agent of the Israeli Defense Force who comes out of retirement to hunt for his last target, a Palestinian fighter, whom he thought he had killed. The series created by Baran bo Odar and Jantje Friese is meant to be watched late at night, with the lights off, for a ghost story experience. Dark has been noted for its many similarities with the 1990s TV series Twin Peaks and the 2016 Netflix series Stranger Things.

The thriller series revolves around a troubled Mumbai Police inspector who shares a common link with a fugitive gang boss who is determined to drive the city to destruction.
