It’s hard to find someone who doesn’t love dogs, and it’s harder to find someone who doesn’t love puppies. Dogs are one of the most loved and accepted animals around the globe, so much that it’s not surprising to see a dog being trained to act and recognize the sounds of humans!
I mean, the friendship of a dog and a human has evolved so beautifully that not only they are considered as man’s best friend but they are also trusted around babies, many babies are lucky enough to have a dog as their companion as soon as they are born!
Dog owners these days are training their dogs to do almost everything, from using a toilet seat to communicate with the help of those bells that spell a word referring to what the dog wants to say, nearly making it sound like having a proper conversation with your dog! It’s no surprise that our smart dogs are acing every new trick that they are learning, words, however, might have a limit.
Of course, evolving has no limits and the same goes for dogs as well, although, according to recent research conducted by a Hungarian scientist, a dog cannot differentiate between words with similar sounds. Electrodes were put on the head of the dogs in order to measure the signs that the brain would give to indicate recognition. To everyone’s surprise, it was revealed how your dog may simply be confused between words like ‘sit’ and ‘sut’. They are smart enough to recognize the difference between nonsense and non-nonsenses words, however, a similar-sounding word regardless of its sense can confuse the dog.
At least that gives relief to why your dog may respond to ‘sit’ as well, I mean this makes them cuter considering the fact that our dear dogs are smart yet confused little cuties! So next time you see your dog acting as commanded on some other similar word as well, try not to be scared of your dog being a slow learner or something because they are simply confused but responding to it anyway, we definitely do not deserve dogs, they are literal flowers of the gardens in heaven!
