We always try to get creative in the way we eat Oreos but I am sure that you haven’t been as creative as Tisha, an artist whose canvas is Oreos. Yes, you read that right it’s more than an Oreo cake it’s Oreo art. Tisha Cherry has upped the food art game, by using different colored oreo cream to turn into famous paintings and some of her original paintings.
She uses both the classic Oreo and the golden Oreo biscuit as the base for her cream creations. For color variations, Tisha uses colored creams from limited-edition flavors like strawberry, mint, peanut butter. For her to make oreo art it takes from a few minutes to a few hours. Also, her main tool to work the cream is a toothpick. Simple but effective!
The artist affirms that she has five trays of her Oreo art in the refrigerator, and also she consumes the mess-up ones and the ones she doesn’t like. Also, she has framed her creations and gifted some of her masterpieces as well!
For her inspiration, she often makes a replica of famous paintings of Frida Khalo, Van Gogh, and many such famous artists. Also, she recreates memes and emoticons as well.
Tisha Cherry has brought a new dimension to iconic paintings as well as to the world of food painting. She credits her food influence to her father’s restaurant in Hell’s Kitchen where she saw chefs creating magic through assembling food.
