Travelling is fun but you know what isn’t? Packing for trips. Although there are people who enjoy planning, most people shrug at the thought of it and in case you have to pack for a trip in a night or say 30 minutes, how scared are you going to be? Don’t worry; this article is your solution to all your packing problems.

I would usually recommend packing at least 7 to 10 days before the departure date because it gives you time to go over everything and prevent missing out even the tiniest of items. You get to deliberate and weigh the value of each item in your day to day life and the packing happens with ease. This, however, cannot be possible at all times. You might suddenly get notified about a meeting or a field trip the next day and are left with bare hours to get your packing done.

Well, the most crucial part is packing is having a checklist because that takes away 70% of the burden. The only thing left then is fetching the items. Here is the most extensive packing checklist that’ll make your work so much easier and will get your packing done in no time!
Clothing
The most essential and must to be packed items include travel outfits (for any travel purposes) around 2 pairs, undergarments (preferably 2 bras and underwear as per the number of days or exact half), a pair of comfy clothes to sleep or relax in. one very important tip here is to pack clothes that you can easily mix and match, such as a pair of black jeans or blazers or cami tops, so that the number of clothes remains less but you have ample options to choose from. Oh, do not forget socks!

The order goes –
3 to 5 tops or shirts
A pair of jeans
A pair of socks
Undergarments
Pair of comfortable/travel clothes
2 to 3 pairs of footwear (must include flip flops)
Keep the weather at your respective destinations in mind at all times while packing.
Essentials and accessories
This category includes all the toiletries and self-care items such as toothbrush (and toothpaste to be safe), shampoo and conditioner, face and body washes and definitely lotions. Amongst accessories, do not forget to pack a lip balm because that is a must to prevent you from having chapped lips (which isn’t a great look to carry). A very important tip in deciding accessories is to pick the one that is your favourite and stick with it. It could be a watch or necklace or a ring. Don’t spend a lot of time deciding what accessory or jewellery to pack, stick with tried and tested.

The order goes –
Toothbrush and toothpaste
Shampoo and conditioner (and comb!)
Lotions
Face and body wash
Deodorant
Nail clipper and earbuds (if needed)
Only favourite accessories
Lip balm
Other must-pack things
This is a heterogeneous category that will cover 3 major areas – electronics, documents and on the go items. You will obviously take your phone with you but do not forget chargers, earphones and most importantly – power banks. Make sure you pack your IDs, tickets, cash, cards and all the other documents that can be needed at any time. Other items that are essential on the trip include a pen and a tiny notebook, disposable trash bags, essential medicines and anything else exclusive to your immediate needs. Also, do not forget to pack items for entertainment purposes such as books, magazines, puzzles or gadgets.

The order goes –
Charger and power bank
Headphones
IDs and ticket
Cash and cards
Passport!
Pen
Trash bags
Medicines (headache, digestion, etc.)
Sanitary pads or tampons (if needed)
