If you travel extensively and don’t get time to sit and play on your console, then you should invest in a gaming laptop. If you love a true gaming experience with great graphics, then buying a gaming laptop is totally worth it.
Gaming laptops are heavy duty and have some really great configurations. They give you a great gaming experience in terms of graphics and speed, and these are the two most important factors for a gamer. Moreover, gaming laptops usually sport a big screen which makes the whole experience surreal. Gaming laptops usually have a low battery life, so you’ll need to be plugged in while playing or otherwise you can play on your laptop for around two hours.
When buying a gaming laptop, invest in a laptop that will last you a few years. The reason being that gaming laptops are much more expensive than normal laptops. Your laptop should have as a minimum an Nividia GeForce GTX 1060 or equivalent graphics card. A higher configuration card will obviously be better than that. Choosing the right graphics card is an important decision. Anything below this is not worth it.
Get a laptop with a high storage as your games will need a high storage for dumps and files. Most laptops have the option of upgrading the storage. You can always upgrade it later. The keyboard too is an important factor. Most laptops have chiclet keys with LED lights. Check the key travel. Anything above 1.5mm is good with 65gm actuations. The keys should be anti-ghosting, that is when you use several keys at a time they should all work. And you will also need n-Key rollover, which means that all the keys that you press should register independent of the other key.
