Watch out for

A word of advice, while visiting Buenos Aires remember to carry cash and change as you could face a lot of credit card trouble here. Also, vegetarians might face a little problem finding preferable food. Keep an eye out for dogs and stay away from them here as things can get nasty sometimes.

Buenos Aires is a place where you need to stay on your feet and steer clear of shady neighbourhoods. You have no idea how a turn in even a posh locality can land you into dangerous places. Book your hotels accordingly. Also, take taxis at night time.

Some other necessary advices are –

  • Get a SUBE card for using public transport and efficient and cheap transportation.
  • Tipping is a touchy subject here. Make sure to tip generously. 
  • Adhere to the Buenos Aires tea time!
  • Steer clear of Avenida 9 de Julio.
