The defining superpower of superheroes also happens to be speed. And with speed we plan to destroy time. For a more sophisticated way of showcasing their speed, ancient rulers came up with chariot races. Time evolved, industrialisation happened. These chariots were replaced by bikes and cars. But what if the past and the present came face to face with each other? Let us introduce you to one of the most baffling sport you&#8217;ll ever witness – Chariot Motorcycle Racing! </p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Do not ask us what the point of this sport is – sport rarely has one, except enjoyment. And when you do look at the &#8216;riders&#8217; participating in the chariot bike race, you&#8217;ll see the enjoyment and adrenaline sweating from their faces.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Chariot motorcycle racing was inspired by the film <em><a href="https://m.imdb.com/title/tt0016641/">Ben-Hur</a> </em>that was released in 1925. For nearly a decade after that, all anyone talked about was this sport. Developed in Australia, chariot bike racing quickly spread to the West. In the beginning you would see someone riding a bike, with a chariot attached to it. A charioteer would be present, but not of much use. </p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Over the years, the sport evolved into something much more dangerous. Two bikes, or metal horses, if you would, were steered by one charioteer, in a chariot, using reins. How they ever stopped when they reached the finish line we know not, but the sport was surely destructive. ;</p>
