<p class="has-text-align-justify">KFC played its cards right back in 1970 by making fried chicken synonymous with Christmas in Japan and is still reaping the benefits out of it, all while spreading happiness. ;</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">KFC&#8217;s Christmas advancement was the brainchild of Takeshi Okawara, who dealt with the primary KFC joint in Japan. You know him, he was the CEO of Kentucky Fried Chicken Japan from 1984 to 2002.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Each Christmas season, an expected 3.6 million Japanese families treat themselves to Kentucky Fried Chicken, in what has become a cross country custom. Takeshi got the idea of this scheme when he heard some American couples mention how this missed the festivities back there. ;</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">There was no custom of Christmas in Japan, thus KFC came in and made one and people followed. &#8220;This is the thing that you ought to do on Christmas&#8221; is what they said and people did. It is a whole different vibe that you will not find anywhere else on Christmas and it might feel weird but it is enthralling.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">KFC helped fabricate common and business conventions with the straightforward message: &#8220;At Christmas, you eat chicken.&#8221; They offered a party barrel to imitate the thanksgiving tradition but instead of turkey, it had fried chicken. ; The Party Barrel for Christmas turned out to be a public marvel, says Joonas Rokka, a partner teacher of showcasing at Emlyon Business School in France. ;</p>



<p>Not all participate in this celebration but those who do, celebrate it good!</p>



<p>It is essentially a strange but effective marketing strategy that has been rocking for decades!</p>
