<p class="has-text-align-justify">Zeus is an American Great Dane, and the Guinness World Records confirmed earlier this year that he is, in fact, the world&#8217;s tallest dog. On hind legs, he measures a whopping 7 feet. If it&#8217;s hard to imagine, think of an adult donkey. Only, a tqd bit larger But, as it goes with any pet, Zeus thinks he&#8217;s a lap dog. He lives in Texas with his owner Brittany and their family. He has dog siblings and a cat sister who he maintains his distance from.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">While Great Danes were initially bred to help hunt and provide security, the world&#8217;s tallest dog is pretty chill. Instead of hunting, he enjoys going to the farmer&#8217;s market where he gets lots of pets and treats. </p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Even as a puppy, Zeus was large for his age. He has huge laws, and now has grown to a height of over one meter. However, Zeus does not have a superiority complex; he befriends dogs of all shapes, sizes and height. </p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Prior to Zeus the Great Dane being the largest living dog in the world, another dog with the same name had this title. The idea to approach the Guinness World Records was pitched at a family gathering, where Brittany&#8217;s relatives and family members had pointed out that the new Zeus might be even taller than the old one. </p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Having a large dog in the house can be messy, especially because large dogs, by their very nature, act like little children. But the heart loves what it loves, and these big dogs always make for great company. </p>
