He even marries one of his team members, Clarke, only because he wanted her to continue the work on the mission. But for Clarke’s safety, he breaks her heart and tells her to leave. After the war, they were told to destroy their work and never meet the team members again. Turing’s work saved millions of lives and played a major role in winning the war.</p>
