To stop this from happening, the police takes help from their secret weapon, a detective called L who then gradually tries to uncover who is behind these killings. The theme song, “The World” remained until episode 19, and then it was changed to “What’s up People?” by Maximum the Hormone from episode 20 to 37. The film projects a dystopian version of Tokyo in the year of 2019, with cyberpunk undertones. The story focuses on Tetsuo and his best friend, Shotaro Kaneda. They fight against the rival gangs to save themselves and the lives of others who are at stake. The storyline flows in a very fluid motion never lets you rest. This famous anime has been remade and reworked on a multiple time by others but one thing that they cannot and will never be able to replace is the moment that comes two minutes into the opening scene, when Yamashiro’s iconic score kick starts in the background, the perfect music to get your adrenaline rushing.</p>

Therefore, the humans now colonized rocky planets and the moons of the Solar System. The main story focuses on Spike Spiegel, a former hitman of the criminal Red Dragon Syndicate, and his rival Vicious, a criminal affiliated with the Red Dragon Syndicate. Although they were partners and friends in the past, a girl came between them, leaving them to be nothing but arch enemies. The soundtrack, “Tank” has the most amazing combination of trumpets, drums, bass, bongos, saxophone and a singer. The catchy beat might actually take you to the streets of Tokyo in the 80s or 90s, where you might feel like a detective working on some cool case.</p>
