The Storm King Art Centre(SKAC) began as a museum for local artists, but in time turned into an artistically enormous open-air museum that features commissioned works, donations, and site-specific pieces from famous local and international artists. ; The SKAC prides itself in hosting one of the biggest outdoor sculptures in the US.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">The breathtaking Gibbs Farm Sculpture Park of New Zealand is found in the ;Kaipara Harbour. Strikingly unusual in its surroundings, this open-air museum is known around the world because of its vast collection of sculptures(mostly commissioned). The remarkably ingenious artists whose works are on display had to struggle and improvise accounting to the atypical landscape and weather – the harbor is on shallow land that is covered by water during high tide, weather is unpredictable, and the property leans toward the sea. The artists, with their acumen, stood stern and worked around the landscape and the surrounding waters to install modern and contemporary pieces.</p>

The history and customs of Sweden find an outpouring and accurate representation at Skansen. Guided tours will take you through the traditions of the Swedes, exhibiting their adaptability to the changing seasons, their celebrations and their love for animals( no kidding! There are Nordic wildlife, pets, and exotic creatures in this museum). Walk around the manors to discover what the Swedes did for pastime. Skansen is also loved for its scheduled festivities that feature dancing and singing. If you’re visiting, we recommend going there during Christmas. Carefully restored and preserved, this church is decorated with intricate carvings and patterns from the Middle Ages.
