<p>Tell us, what comes to your mind when you think of desserts? I am sure that it’s chocolates, cakes, ice creams, right? Well, there are some countries that take their unique desserts to another level. </p>

<p>Here’s a list of the world’s 5 strange but delicious desserts: ;</p>

<h2 class="has-text-align-left wp-block-heading">Tavuk<strong> </strong>göğsü<strong> &#8211; </strong>Turkey</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img src="https://yodoozy.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/4-min-3.jpg" alt="5 Unique Desserts To Try From All Around The World" class="wp-image-26529" width="800"/><figcaption>Wikimedia Commons / Garrett Ziegler</figcaption></figure></div>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">No one could ever imagine chicken being served as dessert, but it is! Tavuk göğsü has been a traditional dessert, dating back to the time of the Ottoman Empire. Tavuk göğsü is made by boiling meat until it’s soft enough and ready to be separated into strips. Then chicken is mixed with sugar, milk, rice, and different flavors. It might sound strange but it’s really loved in Turkey and is one of the most popular desserts in the country. ;</p>

<h2 class="has-text-align-left wp-block-heading">Mákos Tészta &#8211; Hungary</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://yodoozy.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/5-min-3.jpg" alt="5 Unique Desserts To Try From All Around The World" class="wp-image-26530" width="800"/></figure>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">This is another strange dessert that we can never expect to exist. A sweet pasta. Yes! You read it right. Hungarians seem not to agree with this salty pasta stereotype. Mákos Tészta is made by combining poppy seeds with sugar and then mixing this with the pasta. It’s definitely a strange dish but a must-try as Hungarians claim that it’s lovely. ;</p>

<h2 class="has-text-align-left wp-block-heading">Deep-fried Mars bar &#8211; Scotland</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img src="https://yodoozy.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/6-min-2.jpg" alt="5 Unique Desserts To Try From All Around The World" class="wp-image-26531" width="800"/><figcaption>Wikimedia Commons / <a href="https://commons.wikimedia.org/w/index.php?title=User:Bostonwiki69&;action=edit&;redlink=1">Bostonwiki69</a></figcaption></figure></div>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Okay! What can we say, people just love to experiment with their food and one of them is deep-fried mars bar. The concept of frying candy bars is rumored to have started in 1995. You can find these deep-fried candies at every next Scottish fast-food store, often with a side of fries. You can also try them at home as they only take flour-based batter and some candy bars. You’re good to go.</p>

<h2 class="has-text-align-left wp-block-heading">Champorado &#8211; Philippines</h2>

<div class="wp-block-image"><figure class="aligncenter size-large is-resized"><img src="https://yodoozy.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/7-min-2.jpg" alt="5 Unique Desserts To Try From All Around The World" class="wp-image-26532" width="800"/><figcaption>Wikimedia Commons / <a href="https://commons.wikimedia.org/wiki/User:Televido">Televido</a></figcaption></figure></div>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">In the Philippines rice is also used to prepare dessert, such as Champorado. It&#8217;s made by boiling rice and then mixing a lot of Boiled cocoa powder in it. Consider it as a chocolate porridge. Milk and sugar are usually used to make it even softer and sweeter. It doesn’t sound that eccentric? In the Philippines, people often enjoy Champoradp with salty dried fish. A perfect combination of sweet and sour is an amazing treat to give yourself.</p>

<h2 class="has-text-align-left wp-block-heading">Devil’s Tres Leches &#8211; Los Angeles</h2>

<figure class="wp-block-image size-large is-resized"><img src="https://yodoozy.com/wp-content/uploads/2021/06/8-min-2.jpg" alt="5 Unique Desserts To Try From All Around The World" class="wp-image-26533" width="800"/><figcaption>foodiewithfamily.com</figcaption></figure>

<p>Devil’s Tres Leches is a Mexican fusion. It is made by soaking food cake in cinnamon-infused, cayenne pepper–flavored evaporated milk and adding tapioca pudding and spicy peanut brittle. This cake immediately became popular and LA folks have been crazy for it!</p>

<p>Let me guess! You are shocked, right? No worries, these weird but sweet experiments are so delicious that you’ll end up thanking the person who invented them! Try these dishes at your home or visit these countries for your dessert experience! After all, we live for food right?</p>
