On any day preceding the party, set aside 30 minutes or so with the producer / entertainer, and make sure you know all about setting up your Zoom with a waiting room, using break-out groups, and other technical aspects of the party. A good YouTube tutorial is always a good way to learn. An hour before the party, make sure your WiFi is all set and everything is going smoothly.
