The best example would be all those successful kings and leaders who gave their due respect and value to the sources of knowledge like universities, libraries, or museums.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">It’s fair to say that humanity took a step closer to civilization and became a higher being at the very moment when the idea of keeping every possible information in one place for easy access and to preserve knowledge, in simple words, we further attained the purpose of our life when we opened our very first library!</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">The world’s oldest library dates back to 1359 C.E! The Al- Qarawiyyin library is in Fez, Morocco at the University of Al- Qarawiyyin. The entire structure is so old that it faced some serious structural issues due to it being closed, however, in 2017, Asisa Chaouni along with her team of architects took the heavy responsibility to bring the 9th-century structure back to life! The entire university was made about 30 years after the city of Fez itself was made, further clearing how ancient the library is. The fact that the building itself is way older than the library is quite astonishing as the library is a 9th-century mosque that was converted into a university! The concept of making it into a university was an idea of another great woman, Fatima-al-firhi. It sure has women as its roots which makes it more beautiful!</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">The library has 4000 rare books including many religious texts along with a good amount of books dedicated to mathematics and science, it even has a high-tech laboratory to restore its manuscripts which are too precious to be kept loosely with other books. The insides and the library itself speaks volumes by representing the love of art through its architecture.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Keeping in mind its story, history, and journey, the library is not only a perfect spot for book worms and history lovers but also anyone who values art, restoration, and architecture as well!</p>
