<p class="has-text-align-justify">Do you know which are the best passports to travel the world? According to a new research by London-based global citizenship and resident consultancy business <a href="https://www.henleyglobal.com/passport-index" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener">Henley &; Partners</a>, the global disparity in travel freedoms has never been larger.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Since 2006, the firm&#8217;s Henley Passport Index, which is based on unique data from the International Air Transport Association, has been routinely tracking the world&#8217;s most travel-friendly passports.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">As per the report, the growing travel obstacles imposed during the Covid pandemic&#8217;s first 18 months have resulted in the largest worldwide mobility gap in the index&#8217;s 16-year history.</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading"><meta charset="utf-8">The Worst Passports To Travel The World</h2>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">In terms of travel freedom, Afghanistan possesses the world&#8217;s weakest passport. The HPI ranks Afghanistan 116th out of 180 countries.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">An Afghan passport enables the holder to access just 26 countries and territories without first obtaining a visa. Many of them still need travellers to apply for a visa on arrival.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">In the HPI rankings, Iraqi passports are just slightly higher than those issued by Afghanistan, enabling admission to 28 locations without a visa prior to the journey.</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Syria, Pakistan, and Yemen round out the bottom five in terms of visa-free destinations in 2021, with 29, 31, and 33 visa-free destinations, respectively.</p>
