<p>The Kosovar bridal makeup is a tradition of South Kosovo, in Donje Ljubinje of the Zhupa area. The tradition is on the verge of extinction and is being carried forward by a 65-year-old lady, Aziza Setifagic, who keeps dressing brides for their wedding day.</p>
<p>The young bride’s face is painted in different beautiful colours and layers. If you notice the face, it has three golden circles and several lines. The golden circles represent the different circles of life, while the golden lines depict roads that one traverses over a lifetime.</p>

<p>The face is covered in red and blue dots. The red dots represent fertility, while the blue ones represent a happy and healthy life.
