<p class="has-text-align-justify">As kids, Alice in Wonderland and The Jungle Book were stacked in our little libraries. Pixies, rabbits, dogs and lions were our best friends and, over the years, we have made many more! As our libraries expanded, so did our love for the Animal Kingdom – be it the curious Bambi or the healing Fawk!</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Today, we share with you five of the mightiest animals known to literature. These dauntless, heroic animals kept us on our toes throughout the read, and we fell in love with their courage!</p>

<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Aslan, The Chronicles of Narnia ;</h2>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">“When he bares his teeth, winter meets its death, and when he shakes his mane, we shall have spring again.”</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Aslan – the great, valiant lion is larger than life itself. He created the magical world of Narnia and, with his kind eyes and gentle voice, spoke life into it. Aslan can’t be tied down to one place, ; comes and leaves as he wishes and is the true savior of Narnia. He can heal with a breath, kill with a blow and disappear in a blink. Aslan is all that is right with the world.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Buck, The Call Of The Wild</h2>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">“But especially he loved to run in the dim twilight of the summer midnights, listening to the subdued and sleepy murmurs of the forest, reading signs and sounds as a man may read a book, and seeking for the mysterious something that called &#8212; called, waking or sleeping, at all times, for him to come.”</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Buck, the gorgeous St. Bernard hybrid is one of the most memorable animals to ever have been written in literature. His transformation from a pampered, country dog to a strong, muscular hustler is painful and awe-inducing, and we are always left wanting for more with every reading of this masterpiece. Buck is gallant and valorous, and his love for life stirs in us a similar passion. ;</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Buckbeak, The Harry Potter Series</h2>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">“Tethered at the end of it, one end of his rope around a large rock, was Buckbeak the hippogriff. Half gray horse, half giant eagle, Buckbeak’s fierce orange eye flashed at the sight of them. All three of them bowed low to him, and after regarding them imperiously for a moment, Buckbeak bent his scaly front knees and allowed Hermione to rush forward and stroke his feathery neck.”</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Buckbeak, the Hippogriff, is a common favourite among all Harry Potter fans, and for the right reasons! This “dangerous” half-bird, half-horse is probably the proudest creature ever written, but it look Harry only some gentility and respect(see that, Malfoy?) to get on his good side. After being saved by Harry and Hermione, Buck flew Sirius to live an adventurous life. He took part in two battles of the Wizarding War, and is nothing short of a true HP hero!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Moby Dick, Moby Dick</h2>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">“Towards thee I roll, thou all-destroying but unconquering whale; to the last I grapple with thee; from hell’s heart I stab at thee; for hate’s sake I spit my last breath at thee.”</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Moby Dick, the scary antagonist of the novel, is a giant sperm-whale. Often described as an invincible force, this enormous fish is the center of the narrative, the majority body of whom is hidden from view. Even when caught, the ferocious whale’s essence is unknowable, making him our favourite antagonist!</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Black Beauty, Black Beauty ;</h2>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">“Oh! If people knew what a comfort to a horse a light hand is…”</p>



<p class="has-text-align-justify">Black Beauty, the stunning horse, is an epitome of resilience, hardwork and sense of duty. Through the years, he meets many owners and makes a number of friends – some good, some bad – but he remains the sweetest, kindest horse there ever was. The autobiographical tone of this book is mesmerising, urging humans to be more humane in their treatment of animals. Readers of all ages can sympathize with the afflicted but glorious Black Beauty, and it is for this reason that the novel sparked a revolution!</p>
