<p>If you are an avid alcohol connoisseur and love trying new drinks, you are in for a big treat. A new spirit has arrived in town, and it will give you a taste of tradition×invention. Ukiyo Japanese Rice Vodka is the creation of Black Irish owner Kirker Greer Spirits. Ukiyo is essentially a Japanese gin brand which has paced into the world of vodka.</p>

<p>Ukiyo Japanese Rice Vodka is made with black koji fungus, which prevents the growth of bacteria during the brewing process, and has a rich creamy taste and. The aromatic drink is sweet to taste, thanks to the long-grain indica rice that are inoculated with black koji..</p>



<p>Ukiyo produces its Rice Vodka in the same distillery that makes <em>awamori</em>, the local delicacy of Okinawa. Awamori is also a rice spirit made using black koji fungus. In the company&#8217;s own words, &#8216;Like Japanese sake or <em>shōchū</em>, this Japanese vodka is ideal for sipping or pairing with food.&#8217;</p>

<p>“Our customers are really intrigued by these truly unique spirits and feedback from the vodka so far has been phenomenal,” said John Soden, the chief commercial officer of Kirker Green Spirits,”not only on the taste profile but on the striking visual impact of the bottles too.”</p>



<p>He mentioned that there has been a great demand for the Ukiyo brand. They had launched two gins in September which were sold out ahead of launch. They have now increased production after the rice vodka was also met with the same popularity.</p>

<p>The 40% ABV vodka will be available for US$47.70. It is currently selling in the UK, the Netherlands, Germany and Australia. Its aesthetic smoky bottle is also a great deal of packaging for the rich rice spirit.</p>
