The economic upheaval of the time has made Britain a hotbed for despair and criminal acts, with a fight for survival between returning soldiers, regular citizens, and local gangs. .</p>

<p>You&#8217;re living under a rock if you hadn&#8217;t heard of this show until now. Created and principally written by Peter Morgan, the show offers an intimate look on the reign of Queen Elizabeth II. Chronicling her drama, romances, political rivalries, along with the historical events of Queen Elizabeth II’s reign and the events that shaped the latter half of the 20th century. The show, starring Claire Foy in the titular role, explores the early years of Elizabethan reign in the first and second season. The third season explores the middle age of the queen and Olivia Colman took over the role of Queen Elizabeth II. The fourth season, which again stars Colman, is expected to be released by late 2020.</p>

<p>Personal favourite on the list. This British dark comedy-drama series is based on Charles Forsman’s graphic novel of the same name. The story follows a teenager named James, who is a rebel and believes he is a psychopath. He kills animals as a hobby, gets bored with the practice and wants to find his first human to kill. In his hunger for adventure, he sets out on a star-crossed road trip with his potential human prey. The show manages to come off as a charming, coming-of-age love story while demanding the audience to empathize with the kid’s struggle to survive. </p>

The story, which is set in the fictional setting of the television show Big Brother, revolves around a zombie outbreak that strands the housemates in the Big Brother House. The show, led by excellent performers like Jamie Winstone and Riz Ahmed, is regarded as a proper old-school zombie flick combined with distinctly modern terrors. </p>
