Steven King, known for Peaky Blinders and Taboo, has teamed up with 21 Laps Entertainment to adapt Anthony Doerr's best selling novel into a Netflix series. It is a story of two people and their journeys colliding into each other on the backdrop of World War II.

2 Assassin's Creed
Ubisoft has teamed up with Netflix to give the popular game series its own standalone show. While no release date has been finalized, reports of Mythic Quest's Jason Altman and Ubisoft's TV boss Danielle Kreinik both serving as executive producers on the show have been doing rounds. Assassin's Creed has been at the forefront of pop culture with numerous games, movies, books already based on it। Therefore, it will be interesting to see what more the directors are to bring to us.

3 Avatar : The Last Airbender
The extremely popular Nickelodeon animated series Avatar : The Last Airbender will have its own live-action series in 2022. Netflix revealed that Pixmondo, its partner company for the series, has already started production in Vancouver. In recent developments it was confirmed that Kim’s Convenience alum Paul Sun-Hyung Lee, Lim Kay Siu (Anna and The King) and Ken Leung (Industry) were added to the cast. The filming is supposed to wrap up in 2022 itself, so we might have a release date soon.

4 BRZRKR
BRZRKR was written and created by our very own Keanu Reeves and Matt Kindt. It is about an immortal warrior who fights through ages. Currently, the warrior, known as 'B', works for the US government. It is a BOOM! Studios comic book who has now sold its rights to Netflix. Netflix has announced that the comic would be adapted into a film and later into a spinoff series, both casting Keanu Reeves as the lead.

5 Lost Ollie
Created by Shannon Tindle, 'Lost Ollie' will be a live action show based on the 2016 children's book, Ollie's Odyssey, by William Joyce. It is the story of a lost toy called Ollie who takes on a journey to find its owner. 21 Laps Entertainment, its producer, has confirmed its cast involving Tim Blake Nelson, Jonathon Groff, Jake Johnson and Gina Rodriguez.

6 One Piece
After 'Cowboy Bebop', Tomorrow Studios hae taken up the saga of One Piece to adapt as a live-action series. One of the longest running anime, One Piece follows the story of a young pirate and his super-fantastical journey with his friends to become a true Pirate King. Some of its episodes have been confirmed to be directed by Marc Jobst. Recent news from Netflix also reveals the cast in funky wanted posters.

7 That 90s show
In October 2021, Netflix announced the much anticipitated 'That 70s show' spinoff 'That 90s show'. It will follow the story of the characters of the predecessor show but in the 90s, where Leia Foreman, daughter of Eric and Donna, visits her grandparents. From there it will present a new generation of teenagers and their adventures.

8 Wednesday
One of the most beloved characters of The Addams Family, Wednesday Addams, will feauture in her own horror comedy series 'Wednesday'. Produced by MGM Television, it will focus on Wednesday's high-school years at Nevermore Academy. It has been revealed that Jenna Ortega will play Wednesday Addams and Catherine-Zeta Zones will play her mother, Morticia Addams.
