So they are not actual bees that you often draw on books with yellow and black stripes, but they are these tiny invertebrates, called zooplankton, that are responsible for underwater pollination along with the water itself. They basically visit the male and female flowers and carry the pollen, hence, somewhat acting like bees. Just like the bees in the land, these bees-like animals play an essential role in the underwater ecosystem when it comes to pollination under the sea.</p>

Well, seagrass definitely plays a vital role underwater, like improves the transparency of water, stabilizes the coastline, helps in the storage of carbon, do I need to go on? I mean you do get the idea right, so the point is by helping this sea-grass to increase, these sea bees-like animals, zooplankton, are basically doing a major favor to the smooth running of the ecosystem under the sea.
