<p class="has-text-align-justify">We have heard of tsunamis, haven&#8217;t we? They are giant waves caused by earthquakes or volcanic eruptions. Although, that&#8217;s what we hear happens to water, right? Ever heard about Ice waves falling the same way?</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Lake Erie is one of the five great lakes. These great lakes contain around 20% of the entire freshwater in the world. Lake Erie borders Ohio, Central Province of Ontario, Michigan, Pennsylvania and New York. it is also where we get to see this beautiful phenomenon.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Along the shores of Lake Erie, blocks of ice surged over the shores and formed panels of ice that were 30 feet high. This beautiful and marvelous sight is called the Ice Tsunami.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Ice Tsunami is caused by ocean currents, strong winds, or temperature differences pushing ice onto the shore, creating high piles of it (up to 40 feet), although there is Low seismic activity. ;</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">Although Lake Erie is hazardous to health as it is intoxicated with algae-like cyanobacteria which are extremely harmful. It can make people, pets and other animals sick. ;</p>
