The anime has been a major success which is not surprising. I mean, a good anime is bound to break the anime verse. Moving on, Sword Art Online has some of the best plots we have ever seen with a genre that can sometimes mess up your mind. So, it is not a surprise that it can be quite a task for the first-timers to grasp it fully. So, we thought, why not help our fellow anime community members by blessing them with a list. A list about how one can watch this anime, in the correct order, so that grasping it, would be less challenging.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">The first season has two arcs, both of which deal with the basics of the anime. Aincard being the introductory arc to set the world of this anime. It introduces our protagonists along with setting their love story so that the plot can move further. The following arc, Fairy Dance, expands the story along with the emotions of the protagonist so that we root for them even more. More characters are introduced in this one while the basics of solving the online game while living in it continue. Without dying of course.</p>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">This one is a film that should be your go-to thing in case you are planning to watch season 2. This film is basically a recap of the 1st season but not in a bluntly edited way, of course. This recipe is narrated by our protagonist Kirito to a government official. So, if you are on your way to the second season and not in the mood to re-watch 1st. Well, you know what to do.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Season 2: Sword Art online ll (Phantom bullet/Calibur/ Mother’s Rosario)</h2>

The incident of killing people in the game leading them to die in real life will create the plot for this arc. This incident will trigger the involvement of Kirito to further indulge in an investigation to solve the puzzle. Not a spoiler, but the man will be someone close enough to Kirito! Yeah, I guess enemies are all around. The second arc is more of a break from the previous arc which was a bit on the heavy side. Also, not to forget, the coming act, so it was a much-needed break. The third arc is heavy on emotions so be ready to have some swollen eyes.</p>



<h2 class="wp-block-heading">Sword Art Online Alternative: Gun Gale Online</h2>

<p class="has-text-align-justify">This one can be seen on its own along with a few Easter eggs. The story will cover only Gun Gale Online along with an entirely different list of characters. None of the original characters are in the Gun Gale Online alternative arc. However, it’s better to cover it as well. This is also a bit inspiring as you will see the protagonist finally standing up to her greatest insecurity in real life with the help of the game.</p>

The plot is all about the new problems where the old boss monsters from the original game are showing up. Kirito shows his interest as well after learning about the boss. The arc also deals with the new problem of the survivors of SAO losing their memory about the game.</p>
