Be honest, now. Aren’t you tired of adulting? Aren’t you tired of constantly being on a lookout for your luggage? When you’re at the airport, do you, too, feel a little tired of dragging two roller-suitcases and a duffle bag? Now imagine being able to breeze through the airport without additional baggage, and still having access to whatever you need? Welcome to the world of wearable luggage, an airport jacket that accommodates 15kgs, or around 33lbs of your baggage in itself!
Kickstart’s airport jacket comes with 14 deep pockets that can store almost anything. When worn at full-length, it lets you carry approximately 2 laptops(or 1 laptop and one tablet), 2 pairs of shoes, 5 t-shirts, a pair of jeans, a jumper, a dress, your innerwear, liquids like water, and a camera – everything you need for a sweet and small trip!
The gentlemen and the ladies – both are very welcome to wear the wearable luggage. The jacket looks like a trench coat and, if you can carry 15 kilos with grace, you might go undetected by the general human. What happens at security is another story. You see, you will have to check airport regulations before you’re able to make sure you can wear the airport jacket with 15kilos of luggage inside. And to be carrying so much stuff in a piece of clothing is more than just a little fishy.
But let that not be a deal breaker.
Landing at the airport wearing a jacket, carrying none of your baggage not only makes you look elegant but also carefree. And if you aren’t one of those people comfortable walking around, inside and out of the airport without a single baggage, we have a treat for you! The airport jacket, which comes in three sizes, can also be converted into a carry-on duffle bag with handles. How do you feel about it now?
According to the designers of the Kickstart jacket, wearers need to simply slide their luggage into the jacket pockets when checking in and boarding the flight, and once safely off the plane the jacket can easily be unzipped and transformed into a duffle bag capable of holding both the jacket plus all items in the pockets.
The idea has been around since the later half of the last decade, and some people have tested out the wearable luggage jacket. However, the company has not rolled out recent updates mentioning the jacket. All’s well, though. That we now know of such a possibility is cool enough. You learn something new everyday, huh?
