If I told you that this anime was about a giant, yellow, slightly perverted octopus, you'd lose interest instantly, right? So no, this is not what Assassination Classroom is about. Instead, it is the story of a mysterious and powerful (albeit funny-looking) creature who plans to destroy the earth in a year. On top of that, he wishes to teach and train a class of misfits- students who have been abandoned by their educators- to prepare them to assassinate him. Hey, a new method of self-destruction unlocked!
Strangely though, this scary octopus might be the best teacher they've ever had! You cannot help but smile as you watch each of those students discover their unique talents and grow emotionally under the guidance of Koro-sensei. Their assassination attempts are thrilling and sometimes hilarious to watch, but there are moments that take us to the edge of our seats as we wonder, will this be the end of Koro-sensei after all?
