Fashion designer Adam Saaks is lovingly called ‘Adam Scissorhands’. With a pair of scissors and tweezers, the designer can transform any and every piece of clothing. Live. With people watching. On the street! The exceptional acumen that travels with the designer wherever he goes has led to billions of views on his YouTube channel, everyone dumbfounded that the expert can transform clothes by cutting them within minutes. And, at the risk of repeating ourselves, ON THE STREET!

How Adam Saaks discovered his calling was purely accidental. By the age of 19 he had realized he wanted to do something in the fashion industry, but his true gig was still unknown. While distributing some t-shirts he had designed for a t-shirt company, he was asked by a woman if he could cut it up, like the tshirt there. Adam took the chance and agreed to do it, went inside to get a pair of scissors, and started cutting the shirt. In a few minutes he realized he had gathered an audience. The woman then wore the shirt, and Scissorhands cut it up more accurately. People were applauding, and that was Saaks’s epiphany.
Since then he has come a long way – establishing his own brand, running his own show. The popular show called ‘Shredded’ is a playlist of livs-cutting, aka, deconstructing videos by Adam Saaks, and this, too, was accidental.
Saaks had not yet realized how famous he was on the internet till he saw a video of himself doing live-cutting on YouTube. This video had 21 million views! After a bit of debating, the maestro started his own channel, and things have only gone uphill since then.
Whenever the California-based designer gets some time after a gig, he grabs a photographer and a model, and heads to a famed spot in whichever city he is. And wherever Adam Saaks goes, an audience gathers, gasping with its mouth open, always surprised to see the brimming talent and passion that Adam Scissorhands carries with him.
