Origin Of Oktoberfest
This festival began as a wedding celebration over 200 years ago, in 1810. It was the wedding of Bavaria’s crown prince and it lasted for days of fun, drinking, feasting, competitions, et cetera. That is when the tradition started and has been kept intact ever since.
