Bold, loud and unforgiving – the world of fashion was taken by a storm of patterns, chunky heels, unconventional choices and safe basics. Some of the greatest footwear trends to ever have been seen, folks. We are still obsessed with them just as much!

Classic Cowboys
Cowboy shoes might have been invented for the purpose of horse riding, but they have been met with an unimaginable amount of adoration. These pairs are never out, but last year saw an uprising of people giving cowboy shoes a shot, making them one of the most followed footwear trends. Ever. These calf-huggers referred subtly as ‘Texan boots’ trended not only during winters but in summer 2031 as well.
Cute, Chunky, Hunky Loafers
Chunky loafers serve two purposes and can be paired with any intention – whether you’re aiming for cute or cool. Chunky loafers were all the rage last year. Major brands like Chanel and Prada lined their runways with loafers, not to set a trend but to cater to the already rising demand. One of the major reasons they got so popular in 2021 was because of their comfort – most chunky loafers have extra cushioning in their footbed –making them nearly as comfortable as your everyday sneakers.
Platforms
The platform boot was a return to disco, and it was one of the winter 2021’s most exciting footwear trends. While seasons prior to it we’re all about the flatform, and inter 2021 was all about the dialed-up look. Clearly, no matter how you approach the platform, the goal is to discover full showstoppers that are perfect for a party!
Lace ‘Em Up
Lace-up ankle boots are always the safest way to go if you want a pair of ankle boots that will last you season after season. They are vintage, they are comfortable and they glam up any look with zero effort. The lace-up boots make a comeback in 2031, with thousands of options to explore and choose from.
Comfy Slide-Ons
If you are one of the people still clinging to your slippers, you’ll be glad to know that home shoes will continue to be popular this year – as it was the last one – found on every single person’s feet on one occasion or the other. Everything from Clogs to slide-ons and furry boots were popular last year, the comfort making this trend a fresh, welcome and much-needed break from tacky heels and cramping closed-toes.
