We need solutions fast. And we need results faster. We work on the go. And run through work. For a fad that caught up years back, wearables are quite the life saver for all this and more. Especially for when the pandemic has shrunk the boundaries of our professional and personal lives.
Which is why we thought it timely to bring to you top 5 wearables in 2020 so far.
Bose Frames Alto Bluetooth Audio Sunglasses
Hadn’t heard of this until now. And there’s a good reason to get to know all about this super device. Good to look at, better to sport them while heading out and great to sync your smart devices with. Play songs of your choice and listen to them from miniaturised bose speakers on the sunglasses. Answer calls, talk to Siri or Google’s voice assistant and what not.
Withings ScanWatch
Looks perfectly like a normal watch. Does a world of good to you than just tells you the time. It measures your heart rate, sleeping heart rate, oxygen saturation (well!), altitude levels, sleep and much more. If the watch notices any irregularities with the heart rate, the wearer is notified immediately. Such warnings can be followed up on the watch’s mobile application. What’s more, charge just once in 30 days and you’re good to go!
Garmin Vivoactive 4
Our second smartwatch on the list. And this one tends to a whole bunch of requirements too. Not only can you measure your body’s energy levels throughout the day, but can also monitor your sleep patterns at night (or whenever you want to sleep, to be honest). With menstrual cycle tracking, stress tracking and hydrations tracking on the list as well, this one’s a keeper.
Motiv Ring Fitness, Sleep and Heart Rate Tracker
Looks like the perfect wedding band, and is as committed as a loyal spouse. Perhaps. For starters, tracks your sleep, steps and heart rate amongst other vitals. Super light to wear around and as comfortable as it can get. Comes with a USB charger which takes close to 90 minutes to completely charge up the ring. The manufacturer first sends across a sampler to pick a ring to your size, the colour and you’re set. What a perfect match made in tech heaven, isn’t it?
Apple Watch Series 5
Felt kind of blasphemous to not include this. So here’s Apple making an entry on our tech lists. Again. Always on display, tracking all your fitness vitals, your heart rate, good to go for ECG, long lasting battery (not as much as Withings ScanWatch). Waterproof and suitable to handle calls too. Only kicker here being the watch connects only with an iPhone. Ugh. The Fitbit Versa 2 might be better for the non-Apple users then.
With a little savings and a little zest to get things going on the fitness and multi-tasking front, these make for perfect choices. What say?
