Growing up in East Texas is challenging Sheldon Cooper. To be a yester mind able of advanced mathematics and science isn’t always favorable in a country where church and football reign supreme. And while Sheldon deals with the world as a vulnerable, gifted, and somewhat naive young man, his very normal family must deal with him. George, his father, is struggling to find his place as a high school football coach and as a father to a boy he doesn’t understand. Mary, Sheldon’s mother, fiercely protects and nurtures her son in a town where he simply does not fit.
And, um, even when everyone’s trying to make it easier for the little boy, things Sheldon says or does start getting on our nerves by Season 3. What can we say, hey? It’s just not cute anymore.
