Brenda Yule became the first woman to complete a quadrathlon. Before Yule, many doubters would raise questions on women’s endurance and whether they were up to the same levels of efforts that men could exert.

The acclaimed University of Harvard allowed women to enroll for studies in the 1940s but no woman was ever elected as President. In 2007, Faust, a historian, was the first elected female President of the ancient university. She refused to be called the “Woman President of Harvard” and insisted on being called the “President of Harvard” as she tried to eliminate stereotypes in circles that always remained skeptical about the abilities of young women.
