As zoos struggle to keep their head over water, their saviours have been none other than the very animals they boast of.
Jungle Jeans, more accurately known as ‘Zoo jeans’ are jeans ripped by wildies. They come in three categories – lions, tigers and bears.
But how did they convince animals to give their personal touch?
To get their attention to, and make them care about the jeans that needed a little ripping, the rippers’ favourite toys were wrapped in the denim to play with.
Next you know, our favourite wild animals turned into fashion designers and gave us three pairs of jeans that sold for USD 3,000, together, in an auction. The money these animals helped raise was used to assist in running the zoo.
