Janine Ker, an artist turned hairstylist, is winning hearts with her ingenious hair art. The artist works with buzzcut, utilizing stencils and carvings to create the phenomenal 3D floral and geometrical haircuts. Incredibly detailed in her craft, Janine has utilized colors like no one else before her.
“I try to derive the designs from a place within myself: the emotion that propels fashion,” she said in an interview, “ I grew up in a time where what you wore told people who you were. I always try to keep that in mind when I create my art on an individual.”
Ker became interested in hairstyling during her high-school years, so it is safe to assume she had figured out her calling while she was still young. When asked about what her own hair means to her, Ker compared hair to a fingerprint, and rightfully so. Each of us has our own growth pattern and texture. Hair carvings and stencils, therefore, bring out truly unique results on all her clients.
The incredible precision mastered on buzzcut!
Ker says people find it so intriguing because for us, it’s impossible to imagine something like this can be done to hair, especially with the minimal growth of a buzzcut.
Janine Ker has been a hairstylist for over a decade now and she has been developing her vision over the years. Her incredible art has gathered nearly 60k followers on her Instagram page
Humans are not the only ones who can flaunt ‘different’ haircuts. These horses are getting Disney character haircuts and we are in love!
