Nothing can ever be nice in the lonely woods. That is the universal truth, period. But still somehow if you do not believe us, this movie will prove you wrong. This 2011 horror/ mystery deals with five college kids who thought a vacation in the middle of the woods in an old cabin would be nice. Of course, they were gravely wrong and the movie shows that perfectly. The film is directed by Drew Goddard and is written by Drew and Joss Whedon. A sure watch for some spooky weekend!
3. The Neon Demon
The fashion industry can be a true horror to work in sometimes. And jealousy sure is one of the most negative traits of a human. The Neon Demon heavily deals with such elements making it the perfect scare watch. The 2016 horror /mystery is written by Mary Laws, Polly Stenham, and Nicolas Winding Refn. The plot deals with this 16yeras old teen in Los Angeles trying to make her modeling career. However, the path is scarier than she thought!

Unsane is one such 2018 psychological horror/ thriller. Directed by Steven Soderbergh, Unsane is a movie that deals with a girl trying to prove her sanity to the mental health institution. The plot deals with a father and a daughter stuck in a hurricane in Florida. The spookiest part, however, is not the water but something else. How can a list of good horror movies be complete without IT? The movie WILL make you scared of clowns. This movie has by itself made yellow raincoats look like a horror movie victim character getup. It is a film based on Stephen King’s work. Hence, the movie is bound to be good. This 2017 horror/thriller is directed by Andres Muschietti. It’s impossible that you haven’t heard about this movie series. Paranormal Activity will actually give you sleepless nights. The fact that the series is done in a way that looks so real is what scares the viewers the most. The film is directed by Matt Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillet. The plot centres around a family which has a weird and dangerous tradition that takes place whenever someone is getting married. The latest victim to this ritual is our protagonist who will have to face some crazy heads in order to survive the night!
