Dying Light 2: Stay Human

Recent Batman games have certainly raised our expectations for the franchise, but this title’s drop-in/drop-out co-op multiplayer may help it establish its own identity and become one of the year’s most intriguing action experiences.
Elden Ring
What will happen when an open-world setting, Soulsborne mechanics, and the combined creative talents of George R.R. Martin and Hidetaka Miyazaki are combined? That’s the question we’ll finally get an answer to in 2022, when Elden Ring is released. While Elden Ring’s network test bets gave us a taste of what’s to come, we’re excited to see what surprises await us in the final release.
Ghostwire: Tokyo
Tango Gameworks returns to the horror genre with Ghostwire: Tokyo. While many details about this game remain unknown, we do know that it will take players on a first-person tour through Tokyo’s paranormal side as they battle spirits with the help of a combat system described by the director as “karate meets magic.” If Tango’s previous works are any indication, it’s safe to say this game will be terrifying.
Dune: Spice Wars
Referred to as “real-time strategy game with 4X elements,” Shiro Games’ Spice Wars records the political intrigue and strategic maneuvering that help make the Dune universe so compelling. The exciting title also lives up to the franchise’s history of revolutionary RTS experiences.
Hogwarts Legacy
For years, we’ve wished for an open-world Harry Potter RPG in which we could become students at Hogwarts. Everything about this title so far suggests that’s exactly what developer Avalanche Software hopes to deliver. The promised morality and character creation systems in this game should undoubtedly aid us in crafting a truly unique Hogwarts adventure.
God of War Ragnarök
Kratos and Atreus are back in one of the most anticipated games of 2022. As the end of the world approaches, Kratos must assist Atreus in discovering the truth about his origins, battle Thor, and locate Tr: the Norse God of War, whom many believed died a long time ago. Nobody knows what to expect from what is being billed as the conclusion of God of War’s “Norse saga,” but the brilliant 2018 reboot certainly set a high bar.
Gran Turismo 7
