Pataky will be seen playing the role of tough, reality-bruised Captain JJ Collins who is supposedly forced to leave her job, and finds herself in charge of a nuclear missile interceptor base in the middle of the Pacific Ocean. The movie is directed and written by Matthew Reilly and Stuart Beattie.
Peaky Blinders S6
Release date: June 10

Among the Netflix Originals 2022 is giving us, Peaky Blinders has an established fanbase. The show will come back to the OTT platform on the 10th of June.
The show has been up and running for almost a decade now; the last season of Peaky Blinders was aircasted on Netflix in August 2019. In this season, Tommy will be seen running a criminal operation in Birmingham and trying his hardest to acquire political power.
Halftime
Release date: June 14

The Netflix original documentary film Halftime is directed by Tribeca alum Amanda Micheli. The film is based on Jennifer Lopez and follows her life. Halftime reflets on her personal life, her career and her life as a social activist. The documentary will be the opening of the Tribeca Film Festival on June 8 before hitting Netflix on June 14.
God’s Favorite Idiot
Release date: June 15

Clark Thompson, a tech support employee, falls in love with his co-worker at the same time he becomes an unwitting messenger of God. The comedy series is directed by Michael McDonald, who has earlier worked on projects like Nobodies,Spy, The Heat, and many more. The series is supposed to be releasing on June 15th of this year
Escape From Spiderhead
Release date: June 18

Escape From Spiderhead is a Sci-fi series directed by Joseph Kosinski, featuring Chris Hemsworth, Miles Teller, Jurnee Smollett, Mark Paguio and Tess Haubrich. Hemsworth plays a visionary who uses psychedelic drugs on inmates in a penitentiary. The movie will premiere on June 18th of this year.
Civil: Ben Crump
Release date: June 19

Civil is an upcoming Netflix documentary directed by award-winning filmmaker Nadia Hallgren. Usually, Netflix does not release any documentaries on Sunday, but Civil will be released on June 19th as an exception. The documentary is based on Ben Crump, lovingly called ‘Black America’s Attorney General’. Crump was an African-American role model who had assisted the families of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and countless others.
Love & Gelato
Release date: June 22

The romance novel Love & Gelato, written by Jenna Evans, is getting its adaptation on Netflix. The movie tells the story of an American girl who, after her mother’s death, arrives in Florence to meet her father who she had never met before. The film is written and directed by Brandon Camp.
The Umbrella Academy S3
Release date: June 22

The superhero series will be officially returning to the screens of Netflix on June 22nd of this year. All the 10 episodes will be released on the same day. The trailer has not been released yet, but the photographs that have surfaced are promising.
In the third season of The Umbrella, Academy Hargreaves siblings find themselves in a different world where Reginald Hargreeves never adopted them.
