If you go with a 30-pack of Busch beer for your next friend’s trip, chances are, you’re going to return with a DIY guitar made out of the empty beer cans! The smooth drinks that Busch Light offers are foreign to none, but as a way of making the best out of waste, Busch has made a beer can guitar. Keep in mind this instrument is fully functional, so you can hum along as you play a country song!

Don’t know how to start? Busch Light has given a step-by-step guide that you can easily follow with your folks and get the guitar strumming. In the video that the beer giant has shared on its official Twitter handle, the DIY instruments are made out of empty cans and some plywood. Busch Light says that all you need is a 30-pack, a group of friends and a toolkit.
But selling its beer isn’t the only thing this campaign by Busch is hoping for. Matter of fact, the company is exploring new territories and is the official sponsor of the Country Music Association ‘s CMA fest this year, and the do-it-yourself attitude has come at the perfect time!
But where did the idea stem from? Looks like Busch is commemorating the rich cultural history of music in America by remembering the famed cigar box guitars of the 1800s. Being an expensive commodity back then, melodious instruments were made with whatever people could source, including cigar boxes.
The guitar that the company featured in its campaign was designed and made by Jordan Davis – the man known to build guitars out of anything and everything the human eye can see. Busch Light also aims to support country artists such as Davis, Ashland Craft and M
att Sell.
