Jeremy Scott, an American fashion designer, is the Creative Director of the fashion house Moschino. Since the launching of his brand in Paris, he has been famously regarded as “pop culture’s irreverent designer” and “fashion’s last label”. Jeremy has taken the innovation in fashion to a whole new level in 2020. Since 2020 is a year almost blacklisted for fashion runways, you would be awestruck by his way of dealing with it.
Scott made his Spring/Summer 2021 collection debut on marionette-models created by Jim Henson’s Creature Shop. The show encapsulated 40 exquisite outfits, displayed in an extra-ordinary manner using 30-inch marionettes. The short film “No Strings Attached” features a full runway show along with its minutest details. The film includes the front row of marionettes of those who are the epitome of fashion journalism, including Anna Wintour (Vogue), Nina Garcia (Elle), Edward Enninful (British Vogue), Angelica Cheung (Vogue China) and Vanessa Friedman (The New York Times).

Jeremy Scott says that he saw the pandemic as an opportunity and not an obstacle. While he himself was in quarantine, his mind wasn’t. He says that creating a film would let many people have an opportunity to witness the show, unlike how few people experience it when it’s live.
