Houston-based lipstick artist Natalie Irish, has gained massive attention for the weird yet unique portraits that she creates by kissing the canvas. In 2011, her lip print portraits of Marilyn Monroe, Kimi Hendrix, and Roy Rogers caught media attention. By varying the pressure of her kisses on the canvas, Irish creates mesmerizing paintings which most of us can’t even draw with a whole set of painting tools.
Following her birth on October 8, 1982; Natalie Irish quickly started to surprise everyone with her astonishing artwork of all conceivable mediums: metal, paint, clay, fabric, and charcoal. Her instagram bio reads: “Painting with my lips and lipstick. The only thing that touches the canvas is my mouth. No pencils, brushes, or other tools, just the ole kisser.”
