Though both PS5 and the Xbox Series X|S are now out, the past console generation hasn’t been done away with yet. Far Cry 6
After fictionalizing Montana for three years, Far Cry is all set to rock with the fictional Caribbean island Yara. In this one, the big baddie is El Presidente Antón Castillo which will be played by Breaking Bad’s Giancarlo Esposito. Far Cry 6 will be released for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, Amazon Luna, PS4, PS5, and Google Stadia.
Back 4 Blood
Back 4 Blood is a new take on the cult-favourite Left 4 Dead series. This new game features the classic cooperative zombie shooting that fans had loved about Valve’s long-dormant series. A major innovation introduced in this game is the addition of a card mechanic. When players start a level, they have to build up a deck of cards that alter their character’s traits as they proceed through and mow down undead hordes. Back 4 Blood is expected to arrive for Xbox One, PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, and PC somewhere in June.
Gotham Knights
Gotham Knights is by far the closest that we are ever getting to a Red Hood video game. Despite apparently taking place after Batman: Arkham Knight; Gotham Knights offers a brand-new universe with a storyline that features the Court of Owls–Suicide Squad. Gotham Knights is expected to be launched for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, PC, PS4, and PS5 in 2021.
Elden Ring
Elden Ring is possibly the most anticipated Xbox game. It is expected to be a jaw-dropping collaboration between A Song of Ice and Fire writer George R. R. Martin and Dark Souls director Hidetaka Miyazaki and. It will be available on all platforms from some point in 2021. Elden Ring is expected to be released for Xbox One, PC, and PS4.
Halo Infinite
Originally supposed to be released in November 2020 before being delayed, Halo Infinite is now expected to be launched for Xbox One, Xbox Series X|S, and PC in 2021. The Chief is now back with the long-awaited game in 343 Industries’ take on Halo. The Banished are back for Master Chief to tangle with and this time he has got a grappling hook. Infinite’s multiplayer will be free to play while the campaign will have to be purchased as usual.
