Trees constitute a major part of the natural beauty that we see around us. They have been there since one can remember in all shapes and sizes. Ever wondered what the largest tree in the world looks like and where it is located? No clue? Read this article till the end to find out!
Giant sequoias are one of the oldest tree species in the world. Not only are they old, but they can also live for a long period of time, generally around 3000 years. These trees can have branches that are eight feet in diameter and their bark can be around three feet thick.

Still haven’t gotten an estimate as to how tall these trees are? Well then here is an activity for you! Get out of your house, go to a building which has 26-30 stories. Stand down and look up at the terrace of the building. Hurts your neck to do so? That is exactly how you will feel while looking up at a giant sequoia tree!
Now that it is established that these are one of the largest living organisms in the world let us get to where you can find them. Sequoia National Park is located in California. While this park is definitely known to house several giant Sequoia trees, it is most notably famous for being home to the General Shermen tree which is by far the largest tree on Earth by volume.
