It’s simple to see why crystals are so popular. They’re beautiful, intriguing, and some even say magical. While crystals have been used in ritual and ceremonial for millennia, some are developing ways for the modern on-the-go consumer to get their crystal dose. Crystals, according to believers, have therapeutic or protecting properties and can alter your energy depending on whatever crystal you utilize.

Crystal healing may be traced back to the Sumerians of Mesopotamia about 6,000 years ago. It spread from there to ancient Egyptian civilizations and faiths such as Buddhism and Hinduism, when individuals began putting specific crystals on their bodies for alleged health advantages. Carnelian crystals are considered to improve female reproduction, while clear quartz is said to stimulate vitality and rose quartz to enhance creativity.

Celebrities, who are no strangers to appropriating old faiths for their own wellness trends, became aware of crystal healing in the mid-to-late aughts, and what had been a timeless ritual became a craze.

What is the most recent craze? Water bottles with crystals in them.

It all started a few years ago, when Vanity Fair said that water bottles will be the 2018 status symbol. Since then, celebrities such as Gwyneth Paltrow, Victoria Beckham, and Miranda Kerr have all praised them.

A crystal elixir, also known as crystal-infused water, is a simple yet powerful method of dealing with the healing energy of crystals and gemstones. When pure water is infused with crystal vibrations, it is charged with the stone’s therapeutic qualities and may be used to promote healing and wellness.

Water has been shown to have the ability to absorb energies; by ‘infusing’ it with a crystal, you may harness the crystalline vibrations of each stone. Sipping on this water throughout the day may slowly connect your body with this beneficial energy. The ability to cure, like with any vibrational medicine, is in the hands of the beholder! Everything is impacted by subtle energies, but our ability to tap into those frequencies is limited by our openness to them.

Because crystal-infused water bottles may be very pricey (prices range from $70 to $100), you want to be sure you’re investing in quality. Not to add that when water is being used, safety is of the highest significance. Not just any crystal with the potential to leach hazardous minerals may be used. We recommend using crystals from reliable sources.

Although there is no scientific evidence to support the power of crystals, one could argue that there is something to be said about the sentiments they assist to evoke. Crystals have been and will likely always be in the esoteric world for centuries

Others think that these tendencies essentially defraud individuals of their money. Theoretically, these goods are unlikely to do harm to the majority of people, but in the long run, the wellness business might divert individuals from making meaningful adjustments for improved health.
