Escape From Alcatraz

This 112 minutes film directed by Don Siegel is an amazing piece. Alcatraz was known for the worst jail from which no one can escape. Frank, a convict who was sent to Alcatraz, faces many challenges inside the prison and decides to escape and includes two more prisoners. The three prisoners were never found even after years of searching for them. The best part of this film is its screenplay; everything is shown to the point with no exaggerated drama. 

Fight Club

Directed by David Fincher, Fight Club is a classic that plays with your mind. This movie is about a man who lives a very normal life but is depressed and suffers from Insomnia. With a lot going on, he meets Tyler and they both start a fight club together in which there are no rules, all you have to do is fight. Fight Club has such a clever script and one can never predict any scene in this movie. It is a classic which has the best ending too. You should not miss it.

12 Angry Men

12 Angry Men is directed by Sidney Lumet. This film revolves around the jury of a murder trial. The accused, if found guilty, is going to be given the death penalty. The majority of the jury members voted for guilty. The twelve jury members take their seats and the vote is taken. Only the 8th juror doesn’t agree with ‘guilty’. This creates a deep and violent discussion between the 8th and other jury members. 12 Angry Man helps the audience to understand the importance of human life.

Some Like It Hot

Some Like It Hot is a 1959 Billy Wilder’s classic. This film is a romantic comedy of two musicians who witness a murder and tries to escape from the gangsters who killed them. So, they end-up joining an all-female band by dressing up like them. The commitment of the actors to their roles is worth watching and Marilyn Monroe as always is amazing in this movie too.
