It is an anime series that takes a different approach towards the magical genre. This anime series takes place at an all boys school and in which a group of five boys acquire magical powers and fight against the evil powers. These five boys are the members of their school’s Earth Defense Club. When they acquire the magical powers given by a talking wombat, their lives are changed forever but for the good.

This is an anime series adapted from the novel titled “Is This a Zombie”. It was written by Shinichi Kimura and illustrated by Kobuichi and Muririn. The series revolves around the adventures of Ayamu Aikawa who’s a zombie resurrected by a necromancer known Eucliwood Hellscythe after being killed by a serial killer. During his journey of experiencing the life of undead, he runs into a Masō-Shōjo named Haruna and possesses her magic powers unintentionally and ends up acquiring her magic powers. Every girl he likes ends up liking his best friend Makoto Sunakawa who’s very handsome. His life takes a turn when he saves Rinko Yamato from being molested. She’s a cute but shy girl who falls for Takeo but Takeo as usual thinks she likes his best friend Makota and not him.

Wotakoi : Love is Hard for Otaku originally started as a Japanese web manga series. It was written and illustrated by Fujita. The show was released invApril 2018 and continued till June. It revolves around the lives of four friends who explore their office work and geek life while looking for true love in modern Japan. The main characters are Narumi, an office working woman who hides her fujoshi lifestyle, and Hirotaka, a handsome and capable company man who is a game otaku. The two seem perfect for each other, but love is difficult for otaku.

Ao Haru Ride, or Blue Spring Ride is a Japanese anime series both written and illustrated by lo Sakisaka. It aired in July 2014. The series starts with a basic plot around a girl named Futaba who used to be in love with her middle school classmate Ko Tanaka. Things start to take turns when she meets him again after a long time as shifted to another school for high school. The main plot is about Futaba and Ko Tanaka making things work and building their relationship.

This one is also originally a manga series written and illustrated by Izumi Tsubaki. An anime adaptation by DogaKobo aired in July 2014. Highschool student Chiyo Sakura confesses her love for her schoolmate Umetarou Nozaki who mistakes her for a fan and gives her his autograph. Soon Sakura discovers that Nozaki is a famous shōjo manga artist using the pen name Sakiko Yumeno. She works as his assistant to become closer to him. Together they work on writing a manga series titled “Let’s Fall in Love”. The series focuses on their journey while experiencing all this and what unfolds later in their lives.
The Way Of The Househusband
The Way of the Househusband is a 2018 Japanese manga series written by Kousuke Oono. It was later adapted into a original Netflix anime series in 2021. The series revolves around the life of a Yakuza thug who’s now a househusband named Tatsu. He takes this decision to support his Kyariaūman wife, Miku. This series is filled with humorous scenes that depicts Tatsu’s struggle in managing a domestic life while running into his former rivals and associates. The creators portray his dilemma in a humorous yet relatable way.
