The brazil based origami artist has given a new dimension and method to the art of origami by creating an impossible kinetic origami structure out of modular cubes. Each box is individually folded and then with precision is incorporated into a much bigger cube to make a movable structure. He even gives a step by step tutorial on how to make these creations on his YouTube channel.
White On Rice
Known for creating miniature origami art pieces, what started by one person as an Instagram challenge has now become a full-blown brand that creates stop-motion animation, social media content, and installations just by using the ancient Japanese art of origami. Each of his origami pieces are tiny and are placed in a scene and creates an entire story around the objects and his origami miniature pieces.
Jun Mitani
A 3D origami artist who constructs paper magic and creates visually pleasing pieces with the help of technology by extracting the base of his design and then using the technique of cutting and folding the paper to make it 3D. He has also collaborated with the Japanese fashion designer Issey Miyake.
Alma Haser
Artist and a photographer, who mixes both of her talents to make an excellent piece of art which are new and out of the box in the field of origami. What she makes is handcrafted origami portraits, using the portraits of anonymous people who she clicks and then later prints them out on a paper to make origami which she later also uses in her shoots to obstruct the face of the person with their own origami, like inception, isn’t it?
