Age is just a number when it comes to talent. While some spend years to practice their craft, there are others who are born with a keen eye for detail.
Our artist in focus this time, is someone who takes great pride in the work he creates. Chiron Duong is just 24, but age is just a number for this photographer from Vietnam when it comes to creating surrealist compositions in his photographs.

In this exclusive interview with Chiron Duong, we discuss about his work, influence and passions.
Yodoozy: Hello Chiron! Glad to talk to you today. You’re a young artist. What is your take on modern vs traditional art?
CD: I am a landscape architecture student. So, the different types of art (public art, installation art, painting, graphic, visual) have influenced my image style. With the development of science and technology today, modern art is expressed in many creative forms. Modern art connects young people, creates new trends, or presents old topics in complex and attractive forms thanks to new technology software. However, traditional art still has its important values.
Yodoozy: What was your childhood like and what role did it play in moulding you into the brilliant photographer that you are today?
CD: As a child, I had the ability to paint. In college, I learned and practiced more about colors. Therefore, color has a strong influence on my photos. My story: ‘Stroll through colorful planets.’
Just like humans. Each color has a variety of emotions. The game with colors like a circle has no beginning and no end. This game requires you to decode, discover, chat and fall in love with colors.

Yodoozy: Your passion for colours is brought out vividly in your compositions. Where have you displayed your work in the past?
CD: I work mainly in my country (Vietnam). And some small exhibitions in France.
Yodoozy: Is there any particular artist that you idolise? If so, why?
CD: I like many artists. Tim Walker, Nick Knight… But I care more about landscape artists (landscape architects).
Yodoozy: Have you ever associated with any other business in the past?
CD: I haven’t associated with other businesses.

Yodoozy: Where can your fans find your work?
CD: I am featured on Behance and some other magazine pages. My main clients come from Behance and Facebook.
Yodoozy: What plans do you have for your future?
CD: Continue to grow on better topics. I look forward to reaching more viewers in more countries.
Yodoozy: Would you like your patrons to connect with you on social media?
CD: Yes! (Absolutely)
Yodoozy: Thank you for taking out the time to talk to us, Chiron! We wish you the best.
