In this exclusive interview with Victor Vector, we discuss his career and passion for design.
Yodoozy: Hello Victor! As a young 3D designer, you have worked with some of the big brand names. When did you start working in this field and what motivated you to be an artist?
VV: About 5 years ago…I worked as a web designer in advertising and I really wanted to engage in more interesting and complex creativity, so I began to slowly study the 3D, in my spare time. Then my specialization began to change towards 3D graphics, as I began to learn animation and became a motion designer.
Yodoozy: So your love for 3D managed to win you over. Let’s talk about your childhood and growing up experiences. Where did you learn your craft?
VV: At the end of high school I got an intern in the design department in a big glossy magazine, where I first worked for free, and then received $200. It was a start for my design career, after which I managed to work in the most rewarded and largest agencies in Russia. After that I went freelance and for the last 5 years I have been working only with my own clients. I have no time or desire to get higher education, so I am self-taught.

Yodoozy: Where do you display your work?
Only on my social media pages.
Yodoozy: Have you associated with any businesses in the past?
VV: Yes…BBDO Group, Toyota, Sprite, Ford, Pepsi, Yota, Yandex, MTS, Mercedes Benz, etc.
Yodoozy: What is your plan for the future?
VV: Keep learning new things and create art.
Yodoozy: Do you idolise someone famous?
VV : I’m not inclined to have idols except my wife and two children.

Yodoozy: Would you like your patrons to connect with you on social media?
VV : Yes.
