Kari Bienert is an Australian Colourfield Painter who exhibits pieces of her work nationally as well as internationally. Kari’s practice is inspired not only by the magic of the organic world at the macro and micro levels but also the influence of technology on the way we visualize and understand reality.

Bienert’s intricate geometric patterns appear like optical illusions, the abstract works that emerge from her practice, an intriguing exploration into the connection between art and the unconscious mind.
Kari Bienert grew up in the Adelaide Hills, South Australia and received her Bachelor of Visual Arts degree from the University of South Australia. During the past 15 years she has traveled and painted extensively in the U.S. and Europe including France, England, Italy and Greece.
Kari excels in the use of color configurations and the art of creating geometric and curvilinear forms. She explores the unlimited potentiality of chromatic and tonal scales, visual planes and volume within a two-dimensional framework. Viewing her dynamic and exuberant works of art is an exciting kinetic and vibrant experience.
Kari’s visual language implies the pixelation of the organic world. She weaves poetry in visual form through art which sings her inner world. Visit Kari Bienert’s official website for more information.
